NBCUNIVERSAL SUPPLEMENTAL TERMS OF SERVICE – SMARTER BY CNBC MAKE IT

These NBCUniversal Supplemental Terms of Service (“Supplemental Terms”) apply to your use of any Smarter by CNBC Make It services, programming or other offerings (the “Smarter Services”). The Supplemental Terms include the NBCUniversal Terms of Service (“NBCU ToS”), and any other documentation, policies or guidelines that we may provide in writing. Capitalized terms not defined below will have the meanings given to such terms in the NBCU ToS. By using any Smarter Services, you are agreeing to these Supplemental Terms.

We may modify these Supplemental Terms and encourage you to check back here from time to time for any modifications we may make to these Supplemental Terms.

1. Teachable

The Smarter Services are offered in partnership with Teachable, Inc. (“Teachable”) and are hosted on the Teachable platform. In order to access the Smarter Services, you must submit payment for the applicable Smarter Services you are purchasing through Teachable’s platform. Unless otherwise stated in writing, all sales for Smarter Services are FINAL sale, and no returns, refunds or exchanges will be provided. The Teachable Terms of Use apply to your use of the Teachable platform in connection with the Smarter Services.

2. Smarter by CNBC Make It Services

2.1. Modification. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or make any changes to any Smarter Services in our sole discretion at any time without prior notice.

2.2. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, process and use your data, and you acknowledge and agree that your use of the Smarter Services is subject to the terms and conditions of our Privacy Policy.

2.3. No Academic Accreditation. Smarter by CNBC Make It is not an educational institution or accreditation organization. Smarter by CNBC Make It does not grant academic credit or certification for the completion of any courses or other content included in the Smarter Services, and the Smarter Services do not fulfill any professional licensing or certification requirements.

2.4. No Educational Institution Affiliation. Your access or use of any Smarter Services does not establish any relationship between you and any educational institution.

WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE SMARTER SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, COMPLETENESS, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

WE DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ACTIONS TAKEN OR NOT TAKEN BY ANY INDIVIDUAL BASED ON ANY INFORMATION OR CONTENT INCLUDED IN THE SMARTER SERVICES.
